The follow-up to 'Promise This', according to The X-Factor magazine:
Quote:
The single after 'Promise This' will be an enormo-ballad called 'The Flood', a massive, string laden, christmassy tear jerker about "wreckage" and "drowning" and "natural disaster love". Be prepared to shed a tear or three, as Cheryl sadly croons, "you can't hold onto water".
omg. Seems like she aint playin this time around. We just got promise this thi morning and im lready obsessed wit it. Also seems like this album will have less william and will be more diverse. i only hope shell release her stuff in the us this time
This would be like the 3rd song with the same title this year. Katie Melua released "The Flood" as her 1st single, Take That's comeback Robbie single "The Flood" which is out in November and now Cheryl. They better deliver!
She's probably going to follow the same release structure that they used for the singles from 3 words. This will probably be released the week before Xmas, and then the third and final single will be released mid-march.
