I'm talking about the 3 letter f-word that is used as a derogatory term to offend the homosexual minority.
ATRL has really grown and gives out warning points for words and nicknames that include different derogatory terms such as N-word and R-word, but F-word still somehow gets an ok from the mods.
The use of the N-word or the R-word in nicknames for popstars in SYG is punished with warning points, but nicknames using the F-word are never warned.
Should ATRL ban the use of this homophobic derogatory slur, like they do with others?
anything that can come out of the human mouth is allowed, when people realize you can't control what people say, they'll understand this no matter how offended they get.

Actually, you can control what is posted on a forum. That's why warning points exist.
You are free to use derogatory terms in the privacy of your home and yell them at yourself, if that pleases you.
Oh, I thought this would be about the fact that primetime tv shows can use the f-word (see: Will & Grace in the noughties, The Real O'Neals this month) while so many other words get censored.
Um. *** is technically censored on ATRL. I always assumed that people who bypassed the censor in order to use it would be warned.
There are plenty people of color on this forum and the N-word is still a warnable offense, though.
The % of LGBT here is a lot larger than the % of blacks, so I think it's just assumed that people using it are gay, whereas with 'n*****' it's more likely to be malicious. It also comes across differently - saying Gaga is something 'for ***s' seems less harmful than if someone said the same about Beyoncé being 'for ******s'. It depends a lot on how it's been used, though.
I kind of agree with the thing someone said earlier it's like black people using the N word as a gay person I use the f word but only in a chill way I wouldn't say it nasty :L only use it on the people im close with and I do not take offence if they say it to me :L
