LASIK eye surgery is a quick procedure that restores your vision to 20/20 or better, have you or would you take it?

I kind of want to stop wearing glasses now ... But the procedure sounds so intimidating! I can't even touch my eye let alone have them do surgery on it!

My mother did it and we saw that Final Destination movie literally the day before lol. She said it was fine and had no problem.

I want to in the future but the fact that there is a chance of being blind (no matter how small it is) scares the f outta me.

I really want too one day. I love wearing my glasses but my vision is absolutely terrible to the point that it has been affecting my day to day life lately.

I can see without glasses just fine but I have to wear them whenever I'm on my computer. It'd be great not having the need to wear it every time I need to be on a computer but I wouldn't risk getting myself blind. Plus the surgery must be expensive, don't think I need it that much. I'll stick with wearing glasses.

I really want to but I am scared of the possible (negative) consequences. I am fed up with wearing glasses all the time

I had it twice when I was a baby as I developed Retinopathy of Prematurity and it restored some useful vision back, but my current vision is 20/160 in my left eye and 20/40 in my right eye.

My vision is bad. I'd love to but it's so scary

I've been thinking about this a lot lately, I hate wearing my glasses and never do even though I need them to see basic things.

I have 20/20 vision already.

I have been thinking about it lately because I put an antibiotic that I was not supposed to into my eyes and this has really deteriorated my vision a lot.

I did back in 2011 after my High School graduation. It's one of the best things I ever did, really. My vision is still great.

Nope. I'd rather stay with bad vision than get that.
