Dermot O'Leary has said he is "really looking forward" to returning to The X Factor as its presenter - just a year after he left the ITV talent show.
He said: "There is nothing more exciting than hosting live TV on a Saturday night. The show is naturally very close to my heart, after having hosted it for eight years. I'm excited to be back."
Thames TV boss Richard Holloway described O'Leary as "a much-loved part of The X Factor and one of the best presenters in the business", while ITV director of TV Kevin Lygo said he was "an important part of the ITV family".
They should just cancel the show and leave it for a few years. Let people miss the show and give the format back the core of it's excistence and that was finding talent and not the yearly " who is gonna judge this year" talk. There is so much talent out there, that get signed, release an album and at the most 3 single sand then dissapear again like the person never excisted. While the format could def. launch more global acts if they actually would nurture, coach and help the winner's and possible runner ups to actually estamblish a proper working career. Instead of ending up to be forgotton the moment the next season hits the telly.
