Ever since Ariana Grande dropped her new single "Be Alright" after performing it live on Saturday Night Live, you've been listening to the synth-y, smooth track nonstop. But as catchy as the uplifting track is, some people aren't crazy about it.
Fans of 19-year-old British electronic music producer Mura Masa pointed out that they think Ari's new song sounded a lot like his 2015 song, "Firefly."
I mean, it's the same instrument ... ...of course it's going for the same vibe but I don't think Ariana was checking for her music to even rip in the first place
I kinda hear a few similarities........but they are still VERY different,so no they dont sound a like tbh.......
Be Alright >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>.
Eh... I mean, the beat/instrumental is slightly reminiscent, but that's it. Of course some people are still gonna say it sounds "exactly the same" and is "a copy" when it's clearly not.

I'm pretty sure Ariana has been teasing Be Alright on Snapchat close to when this came out though, she has obviously had it for a while before this came out
I dont understand why people make a huge deal of things like this. I mean, it's clearly an accident, I highly doubt Ariana went out her way to listen to this irrelevant and her song and thought "oh i have to copy this"
