Easily the best song on Flesh Tone and I am glad that "Scream" is not 3rd single. This better be a hit and go Top 10. Still mad that "4th of July (Fireworks)" flopped.
I wish she chose 22nd Century, but it's okay, the whole album is EPIC. I don't give a damn if she flops or not, at least I'm sure she serves excellent music & her creativity/artistry comes from her heart & is on another level. I love Kelis.
well in a lot of cases critics praise an album, but that doesn't change the fact that it's flopping
album failed to sell, and singles failed to impact in the States
revive the album, when it's clearly not going to succeed
Can you direct me to where anyone mentioned reviving the album? She doesn't release singles to boost album sales. Her only hit album was Tasty, I dunno why you're acting as though she's some huge artist who has never flopped before.

So what you're saying is that an artist cannot release a single from a critically-acclaimed album, because it flopped?

well she has had more success with her original sound, and since people clearly didn't care about this sound and direction of this era, she should move on and go back to her R&B sound
God I love this song and this album. I'm glad she continues to give something to her fans without the sells to support it. 4th of July is some hot **** and should have had some impact.
