Florence's statement alone doesn't imply anything about Gaga performing at the VMA's... It could just be in general. MTV just tacked that on to get people speculating without actually saying that Gaga is performing so they can drum up excitement for the show without lying.

I won't look too far into their tweet, but I've never counted it out a performance. It still doesn't make sense to me why she wouldn't perform.

Well I won't be shocked, I actually will be REALLY shocked if she performs, she just reminds me of Beyoncé in this kind of shows.

They still using Britney Spears afterall as well, I saw a video where they pointed Britney's sit next to Snoop Dog
