The subject matter isn't what bothers me. It's the way she communicates the song - With 3 notes and a bunch of profanity. The standard is so low nowadays. RnB singers used to actually sing, and thy could tell a story without swearing every 5 seconds

Jhene first album was very inspiring and didn't have much profanity so calm down.

All these artists do their styles differently. I might not be a fan of this Jhene Aiko song, but it doesn't represent what's wrong with R&B.
