I have absolutely NO difficulty in telling a lie. For me, deciding between telling the truth or a lie is more like deciding between telling story A or story B

And I'm great at keeping them going for a long time, especially if I use an angle that they can't understand so they just have to take my word for it.

Not about anything major or ongoing. Little courtesy lies to protect someone's feelings or keep out of someone's drama like saying I enjoyed a terrible gift or saying I haven't seen/heard something when other people are gossiping is the extent of my lying skill. Anything that requires continually trying to remember made up details will just be an utter and absolute failure.

Whew lord, I got in a car accident in another city when I was a teenager and didn't have permission (I was supposed to be spending the night at my friend's house) and made up some ridiculous story about how/why we ended up in Raleigh (I'm from Charlotte), couldn't keep my facts straight and ended up getting grounded and my car keys snatched for an extra month for trying some bs lie on top of pulling that stunt. I think that's the last time I attempted an elaborate lie.

SAME. Sometimes I just accidentally lie without even thinking about it. I think growing up gay helps us become better liars since we have to lie about everything until we feel comfortable enough
