Hitler didn't provoke the riots; he started them. Trump has done nothing other than make some stupid comments, but that does NOT warrant people to act on them to try to physically harm him. I find it sickening how the media is glorifying death threats AND attempts made towards him as if it's ok to do so just because the seemingly majority masses don't like what he has to say.

I don't really care, since I know he doesn't have the power to go through with it. And if I had to guess, it's not high on his list too. The position of President doesn't hold that much power people think it does. The President can hardly get anything done without approval from other houses, including declaring war. The Nazis orchestrated an incident by burning the Reichstag building where a Nazi meeting was held intentionally and blamed it on Jews for an excuse for Hitler to seize power in light of a time of "emergency".
