Charli XCX has revealed she is backing Kesha after her court battle with producer Dr Luke.
The Boom Clap singer, who has just launched her own record label, is giving her support to the star, as artists help to campaign for her to be released from her contract with Sony.
In an exclusive interview, Charli also told us she was pleased Adele used her acceptance speech at The BRIT Awards last month to back the singer.
She told us: "It was important. When females support each other it's powerful."

The singer often wears very bold outfits and loves to play about with fashion, opting for an unusual silk green frock for the ELLE Style Awards recently and a dress with a flowing train for The BRITs.
Charli may appear on some worst dressed lists for her revealing wardrobe and daring choices, but she doesn't care.
Asked if it bothers her, she said: "Not really. All of the most iconic musicians were always on the worst dressed list - Bjork, Madonna, The Spice Girls ... It’s just fashion.
"It's personal taste and I like to experiment. It's cool if people aren't into it, everyone should just do what they love." Well said.

I think so. She said that that part of the song was just a "**** you" to people who think that working with someone like Luke means that you're successful, but IIRC she also tweeting something about him calling her fat.

She never worked with Luke, though, did she? I think she wrote the song because people were telling her that Luke liked her because of I Love It and Boom Clap. Did they ever even meet? I'll believe that he called her fat, since she was always a bit chubby.

I think she tweeted something along the lines of "she [Charli] needs to lose weight", which was something that a lot of people speculated that Luke had said to her in the studio because she was working with him at the time. I could be wrong though but I swear that happened. I'm just a bit too lazy to dig it up right now
