Tamia will return early next year with her first studio album since 2006′s ‘Between Friends‘. According to the powerhouse vocalist herself, she’s about “seven songs in” on the new disc, which will contain mainly mid-tempos, but also a few of her trademark ballads. Confirmed writers and producers for the new album so far include Chuck Harmony (Chrisette Michele, Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette”), The Runners (Mario, Usher), Claude Kelly (Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera) and Carvin & Ivan (Jill Scott, Keyshia Cole).
The new album will be out early next year, with a single due out before the end of 2010.
