so i recently fell in love with a straight guy friend (yes cliché)
and i am heartbroken knowing that he is straight but i guess he already knows that i LIKE him because he asked 2 of my friends if i LIKED him because he heard it from somewhere (****** ass bitch friend i have there) but yeah he is straight af and i know i can't do anything about it

so sistrens did you ever had a same experience and how'd you get over it?

I haven't been in this situation because I've never fell in love with a gay person. But at one point, I was worried my ex-boyfriend was gay. And what came to mind was well... what if he is? Then I know it's just not meant to be. It begins with acceptance. It will never happen. If it meant to be it will be. You can't stop fate. If it was meant to be, your sexualities would somehow match with your best friend's. If you can, you kind of need to distance yourself from him. Distance and time is progress. Because the more you're with him, the more these thoughts will take over. I really feel sorry for you because it's ****ed up being in that situation but think about it this way -- the longer you hang onto your best friend and hope for something that's never going to happen, the longer you're going to take to let go and actually find the next big relationship or even the love of your life. You hanging over your best friend isn't progressing your life. It's just kind of making you suffer because you know it's impossible right? You deserve to find someone who will love you back. I know you can't control your feelings but you can control what action you take.
