A few months after the anniversary of his death, it is the anniversary of his birth fans are celebrating, so that the memory of this incredible artist and, above all, this great father, endures beyond time and space.

August 29th is Michael Jackson's birthday. Yesterday, a day prior, his hometown of Gary, Indiana celebrated the life of the King of Pop.
Mcihael Jackson's Birthday Would Have Been His 52nd
Gary, Indiana's commemoration came just two months after they marked the one-year anniversary of his 2009 death. Jackson died of acute Propofol intoxication at his home in Los Angeles on June 25th of 2009.
Gary marked the date with a special 'This Is It' birthday party outside the city. Gary Mayor Rudy Clay said: "The passing of our favorite son, Michael Jackson, is still fresh in our hearts. A year later, on the day before his birthday, we honor his memory as a great and giving person and as the world's greatest entertainer."
At the celebration, Michael's father, Joe Jackson, 81, attended a cake cutting ceremony. The event also featured a group 'Thriller' dance. At the same time of the birthday celebration, a separate four-day MJFanvention began in the town on Thursday.
As Michael Jackson's birthday is celebrated, questions still abound about Michael Jackson's death. Dr. Conrad Murray, 57, who was Michael Jackson's doctor at the time of his death, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Reports are that Murray's defense team will attempt to have his body exhumed. The report states that the team are challenging the autopsy report. They will instead say that Jackson died of recreation drug use.

Yesterday thousands of fans in MJ's hometown of Gary, Indiana gathered to remember him. His family was on hand and the town had a special "This Is It" birthday party. Joe Jackson, Michael's father, attended the cake cutting ceremony, and fans have been singing and dancing since Thursday at the town's MJFanvention, according to HULIQ.com.

Michael Jackson's Hometown To Celebrate His 52nd Birthday
Michael Jackson's hometown is planning to hold a special tribute celebration to mark the King of Pop's 52nd birthday this weekend.
The late singer's childhood town of Gary, Indiana will hold a celebration outside his first home on Saturday, according to Access Hollywood.
In a statement, the town's mayor Rudy Clay said that he was especially proud to honour the 'Thriller' singer because he was "the world's greatest entertainer" and a giving person.
No doubt the event will involve local musicians and Jackson impersonators.

A little participation.
To begin here is my favorite video ever. Because it brings me back so much memories. When I was a child my sister and I used to watch it all over again and again, and everytime I will say to her: "Lydie, look how amazing, he killed that man without even turning his back". Yeah I know it's dumb but I was really young like 7 or less.
And also at that time I had no idea He was saying "Annie are you okay" and I won't tell you how I used to sing it because I'm too ashamed.
I also love Thriller,even if it's not my favorite video and far from being my favorite song of him. But everybody got his story with Thriller. My brother was so afraid after watching thriller he couldn't go to the kitchen or to his room. I was really young but I remember that because until now people are still telling that joke in my family.
Also I will want to post my favorite song from him song, from the amazing album "Off the wall" which for me is by far Mike's best album. And for me the reason why Thriller is getting all the praise is for the revolution the album brought with him and for being the most sold album ever.
For me that song is what music is all about. The harmonies are perfection and the way Michael sings is so natural. That song for me defines his GENIUS. And also look at the clip, no choregraphy yet his moves are memorable, as a whole the video is simple yet outstanding. That's the Mickael that I love and that's the Michael that I cried for that June 25.
I'll never ever forget this amazing artist, if it wasn't for him NONE of my idols would be here, thanks Michael for all the inspiration.
