Soooo I just finished re-watching one of the most iconic film franchises ever and was wondering what your rankings of the 8 films are ? For me :
1 Chamber of Secrets (Best)
2 Deathly Hallows, Pt 1
3 Prisoner of Azkaban
4 Order of the Phoenix
5 Deathly Hallows, Pt 2
6 Philosopher's Stone
7 Half Blood Prince
8 Goblet of Fire (Worst)
I love them all though, except for Goblet of Fire which sucks (which is funny cos GoF is my favourite book)
PoA > TOotP > DH1 > Sorcerer's Stone > CoS > DH2 > GoF > HBP
I ranked HPB last b/c I can't really remember much of anything about it except the ending and GoF is my favorite book too but the movie so much is left out and Harry/Ron's hair... ...
Order of the Phoenix is the worst. I can't believe how they turned the movie into a comedy when the series were getting darker at that point. Plus, they omitted so many good parts. I know that the book is huge, but if there was a Harry Potter book to be made into 2 parts, it was that one.
Prisoner of Azkaban may be my favorite, but that's debatable.
Goblet of Fire > Deathly Hallows P1 + 2 (counting them as one film) > Chamber of Secrets > Prisoner of Azkaban > Philosopher's Stone > Half Blood Prince > Order of the Phoenix (only because so much was missed out, everything else about it was FABULOUS)
None of them are bad in the slightest and every single one is a 9/10 or above.

I dislike the movies, more so the later ones. Like I'm okay with SS & COS but after that they just get worse. The magic leaves. Also my memory is too good and my OCD too strong to ignore the changes from the books. I don't mind omitting small details but I cannot stand changing them. Like Cho being the one responsible for you know what instead of her friend. That is pointless. Also, the later movies showed them without their school robes too much. That goes into the magic leaving point. They just don't feel like Hogwarts.
Why does everyone in the fandom seem to dislike Goblet of Fire? It slays.
