Ok, this is my third favourite album released this year (after ANOHNI's and Radiohead's). Even the slower songs grew on me already, especially Future Blues and First Eye to the New Sky. It's not like I find this record perfect, I even think it could be slightly better. They should have kept the old version of Unites for sure and I still don't really like the instrumental in the beginning of Lament. But those are the only details I would change. Lost Under Heaven, The Great Longing and $ORO still remain my top 3.
I kinda wish
Pitchfork gave them a little higher score, like 8.3 or something. Maybe if it was released like a week or 2 earlier or later they would have given them BNM (same with Julianna Barwick; to remind you since last thursday 4 albums were named BNM
).

Rough Trade has some limited edition LPs (that come with posters, prints and other sh*t) and CDs (that come with bonus CDs that include demos, alternative version and other rarities). Go and get it
idk, maybe it's the cover (that reminds me of Young Fathers' 'Dead' artwork), maybe the fact that the album is produced by Haxan Cloak, but I will definitely check this out when it comes out
