1. Kelly Clarkson may have added to a song, but it was mostly written before hand. Most popstars that have songwriting credits only "change a word, take a third", and it's usually so keep the singer happy financially with royalties, so they promote the single. I suggest you read Clive Davis's book, and a few other ones.

2. Max Martin is Dr. Luke's mentor, and has a reputation too. Granted, it's not one that involves an alleged rape, but it's still a reputation for being a bitch.
