I always thought it was in Asia but then someone said that its in Europe? So I bring this question to the educated girls of atrl what is the truth?

It's Europe. Always been referred to Eastern Europe. It borders Asia so I can see why it would be a part of that region.

East of Ural is Asia, West of Ural is Europe. So the larger part of it is Asia, culturally it's not exactly European but since its culture spread to former USSR countries as well and they are now part of Europe, guess you can say culturally it's linked with East Europe

It's both but people think everything outside Moscow is Siberia (which is a part of Asia)

Officially it's in Europe even tho some of it's cities and republics are on Asian territory. There are a lot of Asian citizens in different republics

This....Turkey and Kazakhstan have it the same. Kazakhstan is culturally part of Asia tho. Not sure about Turkey

It is known that the part of Russia west of the Urals is European and the other part (Siberia) is Asian.
