As we all known, college textbooks are extremely expensive. luckily with today technology which is EBOOKS, we don't even need the actual hard copy of the books. therefore, we can save some money if we can find those books online? i know there are plenty of ebooks/textbooks out there, but i dont know how to get them. Is any of you guys know where can i download free Ebooks?

For real, anyone who knows how to help speak up. Textbooks are a pain in my wallet

Usually, for my classes anyway, e-books are specified in the syllabi for my current courses along with the printed versions. Though not free, they're usually half the price of the printed.

I had no idea they had a such thing as eBooks. Every time I look for book pages online, they only offer a sample and you have to pay to see the rest.

The book that I just ordered from Amazon was $4.50. In the store, it's $160!!!!

yes, they want you to buy the full version. its like when you go on itunes, and it only let you play a 30 seconds cliff. im sure if we can download music for free , there must be ways to get those EBOOKS(online digital book) too.

u must've gotten an older edition. alot of time, once the new edition of the book come out, da older edition price always drop.

You can ask in your university if they are subscribed to any database. You can find many articles in different databases and for full books Ebrary is a good one.

Yeah, my professor said we can use older versions of the books. In the Syllabus, it has 10th, 11th or 12th edition. I found the 10th edition online for extremely cheap. I haven't even bothered to check the prices of the other editions. You cannot beat that.

You can also search in FilesTube.com for the book and add the word pdf. I've done it to download literary books, not sure if it would work with textbooks as well.

yess! i did try that, and also rapid-library. for some reason, its soo easy to get fiction books on extremely difficult get textbooks. ooh well, i might have to spend $$$ on those ****.
