The offshore detention centres are a disgrace. If the government wants a place for asylum seekers to stay while their applications are being processed, the least they could do is create a better environment so situations like this won't happen.
I mean they might as well send them back to their country of origin (well the ones who aren't from a warzone) if they're gonna treat them like this.
