Even crying on the BET awards and touring with Usher won't get him back to his former status. He was poised to become a Pop/R&B icon if the Rihanna thing never happened. He'll still be able to have success I'm sure, but I don't think he'll ever reach the potential that he could have. He set himself so far back with that, that it's going to be a struggle to even get back to where he was in the "Exclusive" era.
