I mean literally lost a cat. Like it disappeared and never came back.

Last monday my cat went out but since then and haven't see her. I'm afraid

Yea, as a long-time owner of many cats over the years, that doesn't sound too good. Maybe you shouldn't let your cats outside, unless they ran out on accident.

No, but I know people who have.
Have faith, I've heard stories of cats that come back years later, I even read one a year or two back where a cat travelled like hundreds of miles and somehow found it's owner

Is your cat microchipped? Maybe call round to the local vets and see if anyone has heard anything?

No she is not microchipped, but she is sterilized...

I've been asking my neighbours about her and nothing. I put up some posters near my house.

I hope I can see her again.

My cats never ran away but my friends cat ran away before and it came back a few days after. Just keep searching and getting the word out.

Kind of; but weeks later, I was walking on the next block and saw her at someone else's house. Apparently they had been taking care of her, despite knowing she was mine. Sadly, she actually wanted to be there. She would come back to my house for like a few hours, and then return to them. The disloyalty

No, I'd be devastated. I hate to say it but if a cat isn't coming back home, it sounds like something might have happened. It's not normal for cats to go very far from their homes

I think it could be a possibility. My cat is very beautiful... someone might have stolen her. But it wouldn't have much sense because she has a necklace.

This is like an horror movie. I had another cat that died last year 1 MONTH before his FIRST birthday.

Sushi (her name) would have turned 3 years next month...

Yeah, we lost our family cat around 2010, the year I started college. He was an indoor and outdoor cat. He was looking very tired and weak the week before. I had heard some cats when they know they might die, go far from the house, or into the woods to pass. We feel that happened to him.
