In the interview accompanying his extremely beautiful GQ cover, Justin Bieber discussed his former pet monkey OG Mally and how much he loves monkeys in general. Justin had to give Mally up after taking him to Germany, where he was confiscated by officials who claimed Justin did not have the right papers for him. Justin says he would love to have another pet monkey.
Unfortunately, not everyone believes he should give monkey shepherding another try. The North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance has written Justin a letter. "As experts in the field of primate care, we are concerned that this choice will prove to be dangerous to both you and your monkey, as well as irresponsible when it comes to your public following," they write. "As a public figure, we urge you to use this opportunity to show your fans that the decision to keep a wild animal as a pet was unwise. Please do not repeat this foolish endeavor."
