Jane Fonda has a girl crush on Jennifer Lawrence, and she's not afraid to admit it.
"For me, she's the real deal. There's very few that come along like that," Fonda told Vanity Fair for the magazine's 22nd annual Hollywood Issue.
She added,
"I'm just mesmerized by her."
The 25-year-old Joy star and Fonda, 78, paired up for their portrait in the annual issue, both wearing plain black shirts while posing with their arms around each other.
Fonda is also a little envious of the other women in Lawrence's life – namely, pals like Amy Schumer.
"I told her that when I heard she called Amy Schumer and said 'I'm in love with you,' I felt so jealous," Fonda revealed. "I told her that!"
Regardless of her BFF competition, Fonda clearly has some of Lawrence's fun-loving spirit: In the interview, the actress further detailed her star-studded skinny-dipping exploits of days past.
