I think the show kept a pretty good quality over the first four seasons.
The best episodes of the show for me are "Bang" (3x07, hostage situation in the supermarket) and "Something's Coming" (4x07, a tornado hitting the neighbourhood).

The only villain worth a damn in the entire series. His plan to turn Wisteria Lane into a prison rehabilitation community was a breathtaking exploit that almost worked. and i LIVE for Paul Young vs. Felicia Tillman. they are a match made in hell, and the endgame should have been them dying in trying to kill one another.
