American Idol singer Rayvon Owen is celebrating this Valentine’s Day by coming out and living his truth. He chose to come out today in a music video released exclusively on Billboard.
I'm not surprised in the least. I kind of assumed he was from the first moment I saw him. Good for him!
They should let him have a guest role on Empire.
Edit: The love interest is Shane Bitney Crone, whose male fiancé died a number of years back, spawning the documentary Bridegroom. Glad to see him continuing to be involved in getting a positive message out for the LGBT community.
