Owl City star Adam Young has revealed that he wants to collaborate with country singer Taylor Swift on his next album.

Young told Reuters that he has high hopes for Swift appearing on Owl City's third full-length release.

''One of my dreams has been to get Taylor Swift to do a song,'' said Young.

The musician admitted that he already has a song in mind for Swift, but acknowledged that scheduling difficulties could make it difficult for the country star to fit in a collaboration.

I know I've listen to the Sky Sailing album. I'm just saying that the acoustic guitars sound about do better for a song with Taylor Swift.

As ridiculous as this would be, I think I would prefer to hear Taylor singing some nonsensical Owl City lyrics (moonbeams, constellations and cornrows inhabiting the souls of crickets, or some such ********) as opposed to her usual I'm the girl that's left out. Oh, little me. I'm only 15 years old... or at least I was 6 years ago tripe.

I can't imagine it but she is a huge fan.
