15 Kanye West personally called Taylor Swift late last month to tell her about a lyric in his song ... "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that bitch famous."
Sources directly connected with Swift tell TMZ Kanye called her to explain it was a joke and wanted to make sure she wouldn't be upset. We're told Swift said she got the joke and gave him the thumbs up to release the song with the lyric.
Kanye's getting blasted by Swift fans who think he's taking a shot at her. Not the case.
I don't think Kanye was scared of Taylor. He just wanted to make sure that there wasn't going to be drama between the two over the lyric. It's a clear joke so as long as both of the parties understood that I don't see the issue. If some people take the lyric too personally over something that didn't even involve them then that's their problem.
So Calvin, her brother, and her friends who all are acting upset are in on it too?
