There's been tons of try-hard shade threads about her these past couple of weeks though.

Anyway, ANTI has good music/reception. Also, her single performance is stellar atm.

People never really care about her albums one way or another. Most people are pretty indifferent towards her.

Selling 169k worldwide in the first week isn't really on par with other actual album sellers...

Another reason there hasn't been much backlash is because much more important artists released new albums and singles around her release (Adele, Beyoncé, etc.). People were more focused on them.

Honey Why are you twisting words ?

Even with low opening number , rihanna is able to catch up to her peers in 365 days or less.It doesn't matter if she open with 169k or 90k, she has enough hits even on an album like Anti to outsell some of her peers whose sales are clearly frontloaded and is not able to chart with singles.

I wasn't referring to first week sales, i was referring to after everything is over. How is Rihanna able to sell up to par in the end with some artists who had big first week sales?

Because it really shows you first week sales aren't everything at the end of the day.
