Using my fave as an example when she debuted she got massive cause she had her own unique style and she carried herself with a certain aura and she commanded attention.
The mysterious way she acted got a lot of people interested in her (back in 2009 it was almost as if she wasn't human, to me anyway, and i found it really intriguing)

Rih is the vivacious, rebellious, fashionista.
Britney is/was the teen sensation
Gaga is the edgy popstar w/ the outlandish costumes
They just have "IT"... it didn't happen overnight tho. Rih really broke out in 2007
