But that's the issue. Those exclusives aren't enough. The Nintendo 64, Gamecube and Wii U all flopped due to lack of third party.
The Wii did well because developers could easily jump on board. The Nintendo handhelds are the same.
The Nintendo exclusives are amazing, but they are the games that help convince someone to buy a Nintendo as a primary console. Not here is a console with good exclusives.
Exclusives are supposed to convince people to invest, because the logic is "we have everything everyone else has PLUS this..." instead Nintendo are falling into "we don't have much, but we have this" which is not the way you're supposed to use exclusives to sell a console.
The PlayStation and PlayStation 2 had some amazing exclusives, but they are two of the highest selling consoles because of the third party also.
