So the GP, Twitter, IG, FB etc all are RAVING over the Super Bowl (especially the Beyoncé vs. Bruno dance battle) but it seems ATRL is the only place that's upset. Why?
Coldplay did what a lot of your favs can't (command a stage without a bunch of props)
Talent won, indeed. Coldplay was Coldplay, IDK what y'all were expecting from them. Talent was the forefront in all of the performers.

Incredible band, but people usually expect a big spectacle from the halftime show (especially in the last few years) and Coldplay were never about that life. In my opinion. Thankfully, Beyonce came through instead
It was amazing and better than last year's snoozefest. My only complaints were that it should have been done at night, and Coldplay didn't have enough stage time. Beyonce and Bruno were cool too, but too much focus was on them. They should have performed A Sky Full of Stars as well. It's such a crowd-pleaser.
They didn't command nish and if Bey and Bruno weren't there nobody social media wouldn't be bothered. I'm not seeing any tweets about coldplay. Just Bey and Bruno.
Here's the thing, its my understanding that halftime shows are supposed to be epic and spectacular. Coldplay are not epic, singers or epic dancers. He wasnt dressed well either. So where is the spectacle? He most definitely needed to bring something visually original and unique. It's not enough to have cute bops, unless you're Rihanna and you have hundreds of hits to choose from.
