They didn't say she'd lip-sync.
They said "The interesting thing is that the National Anthem is never live because you can't take that chance. They record it beforehand."
That isn't true, nobody has lip-synced it since 2009.
I think she's probably doing it live.

lmao, I think they meant not-live/pre-recorded as in it will be taped with live vocals, just not broadcast live...
