It's trashy and a proof of the creators' incompetence. U should win the campaign by being a good politician, not a reality TV star-type **** thrower. You don't run a country by being a snarky bitch.

Not really. If they're not lying then what's the issue? Naturally, the virtuous campaign will stand tall over the rest anyway.

Well, they could be bending the truth.
I.e.: there was a case in my country, when the prime minister wanted to salute our flag on some EU summit, but she got a bit lost and had to have Merkel show her the way back. The opposition immediately clinged onto that, used the right angles and made her appear dead drunk.
They used it in an ad and, while they didn't directly say"bitch was drunk", they used questions. "Will the prime minister explain her odd behaviour at the XYZ summit? Was she drunk?"
The world isn't black and white, even photos and videos can be manipulated and used to the maker's whim. That's why political attack ads are just trashy. It makes voting that much harder, because I think every party here is doing that.
