Does anyone know how? I have the music on my phone in my library, and I downloaded anti on my computer and added the songs to a playlist via local files but when I try to play the songs on my phone they're grayed out

You don't need Spotify to scrobble the album.

you can only control your music with connect. you can't listen to library media on phone since it's on your computer.

Just download the last.fm app for mobile. Especially if you're using Android, it works seamlessly.

If not, you can use Universal Scrobbler for manual scrobbling. You'll need to pay 3.99$ to subscribe but there's no other fee.

Make sure the music files are .mp3 and the artwork was already embedded into the files. I downloaded a zip of the files straight from Tidal. I suggest you do that (find a link). Put in iTunes, located in Local Files on Spotify, select all songs and put into playlist (so its one whole album) and then just wait. Last night when I did this, the artwork for the album showed up on my desktop player but wasn't showing up on my phone. This morning when I woke up, it did. I think it just takes a little bit of time to sync. Just make sure in your playlist, the artwork shows up (should immediately) or else it won't work.

You have to sync the local files to your device by adding them to a playlist and downloading it.
