And the Mk series still being inspired by SF with the re releases/updates that they've been doing since Mk3, with UMK3 and MkT, will the MkX series reach the 10M sold by the SF4 series, or will it fall short again (which they failed to do with MK9 and its rereleases MK9KE and Mk9 Vita)?
Mkx would probably be a better contemporary with SF5, wouldn't you think? Shame about that hot mess though. I think as long as mkxl releases in a playable state it'll have the upper hand.
MKX will be the better game and more successful than SFV. It didn't even need a rerelease to do that. I think everyone is over SFV already due to the SFV mess they pulled on us. I myself haven't even bought the game as I can wait for the super edition to release in Q4 this year.
Of course a SF demo like V wouldn't sell as much. Still, no Mk game has sold, or will sell as much a SF4, or SF2, even without re release (original version of SF2 ob SNES which sold 7M)

With the current state of the series, you gotta keep living in the past huh? Tragic.
