That is the correct pronunciation in English though (the Brits and Aussies also pronounce it this way). Should we start saying "Ar-hen-teenah", "Espaņa" (when there is no "ņ" sound in English"), or "Nihon"?
I actually had a white peer of mine who like to pronounce it as "Ah-ee-tee" and he was always made fun of. He also thought that it was cute when he said "Meh-hee-coh". Fool.
