I think the late-2000s success could be coming back for the Disney Channel. After the groundbreaking success of "Violetta" they're coming with "Soy Luna" which is already creating a lot of early interest despite not even having a release date as of now. I think "Soy Luna" could be yet another huge success for them, and that they will capitalize on this to establish themselves as a star-creating machine once again. What do you think?
I'm sorry; what and what? This is legitimately the first I'm hearing of these shows.
To my knowledge, they do not air in the US. However, Violetta is supposedly even more succesful than Hannah Montana (highest-grossing series) or Wizards of Waverly Place (highest-viewed series) did for them.
Disney Channel will never reach the heights of High School Musical/Hannah Montana ever again. I wouldn't be surprised if the High School Musical reunion brought in their highest ratings in years.

I was surprised that it only brought in a little over 2 million viewers, but that's still amazing for a repeat of a 10 year old movie.
We should have an International Disney Channel that let's us see the best from different countries! Hell, I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in these shows, now...
When the TV series ends, that girl will return to oblivion just as the girl from Patito Feo did.
The protagonist from Patito Feo fell off because she hasn't done anything since then, neither as an actress nor as a musician
But the evil girl from Patito Feo actually has a very stable career in Latin America, she was just starring on a Colombian series called "Cumbia Ninja"
