No, look at the chart. It's stating that the industry is far more "racist" against hispanic and asian people. The proportion of black people and representation in Hollywood isn't actually all that far off.

These are just raw numbers. Now look at what roles the black actors got their wins and nominations for.

But the Oscarssowhite movement isn't even talking about hispanic and asian representation for the most part. It's focused on black representation (which clearly isn't as bad as one would have thought - particularly compared to the hispanic population, which is an even larger minority yet has such little presence within Hollywood).

Oscar voters are nearly 94% Caucasian and 77% male. Blacks are about 2% of the Academy, and Latinos are less than 2%.

Caucasians currently make up 90% or more of every Academy branch except actors, whose roster is 88% white. The Academy's executive branch is 98% white, as is its writers branch. Men compose more than 90% of five branches, incl. cinematography and visual effects. If The Academy reflects the ratio of black to white people then America needs to quit with the false pretense that it's the greatest country in the world, land of opportunity, diversity and whatever ******** it wants to come up with to further fund and overspend on its military and defense for little reason whatsoever than to drain supplies for poorer countries whilst its people also suffer in disillusion that their country is "free".

Blacks are represented rather fairly in the film industry given their population share. Other minorities could complain about blacks just as much as blacks do about whites. Would be a nice change for once.
