Transferring because i'm getting a bit stressed at the university and want to wind down for bit rather then take off for a whole semester. Tho I plan on enrolling for spring and summer semester taking a bunch of easy classes. Plus the college is a 5 min drive from home

Girl I really don't think it works like that. Take it from someone who is about to be a two-time transfer student - college is college. The courses are not really much easier unless you're coming from like a very prestigious, Ivy League-like university, or you're purposely choosing to get the easiest of your core classes out of the way. The biggest decrease in pressure that comes with transferring to a community school is that you're living at home. Therefore, you still have all the comforts and conveniences of your home and neighborhood while not having the added stresses of roommates and campus life. The problem is that things get a lot more boring and it becomes more difficult to have a social life. Make sure you've really thought this through - feeling a
bit stressed and wanting a break is not a reason to pick up and transfer schools. Have you thought about staying at your university but simply forming an easier schedule for yourself next semester?
