Winslet told BBC News she’d be “surprised” if DiCaprio doesn’t win the Best Actor Oscar for his role in The Revenant.
“I think you can sort of feel it, and I think that everyone wants it for him,” she said. “It would be amazing.”
“But I think yeah, you can sort of feel the temperature. It’s probably going to be Leo’s year.”
The Academy has nominated DiCaprio five times for his acting, but he has yet to win. The 88th Oscars will be handed out on Feb. 28.
