After Lady Gaga (erroneously) won the award for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie over its rightful winner Queen Latifah during the 2016 Golden Globes, she was naturally verklempt, thinking what we all were: How? Her tablemates literally had to steady her, for god’s sakes.
And so, when she walked to the stage, she bumped into Leonardo DiCaprio’s chair. Clearly she was freaking out and didn’t notice—and therefore did not apologize—but as a person who attended junior high school and learned many lessons there, I have an alternate theory. I posit that Lady Gaga saw him laughing upon the announcement of her nomination—who knows why he was laughing, but we can imagine—and totally body-checked him on her way to the stage. Then he flashed a perfect “WELL EXCUUUUUUSE YOU” look and it was preserved on camera for us all to see and speculate.
the article is being cheeky, but leo tbh did look like he was being shady and then got annoyed when she bumped into him. what say you, monsters?

This is the Golden Globes moment everyone is going to be talking about (or at least it should be): What exactly was going on with Leonardo DiCaprio when Lady Gaga stepped up to accept her award?
When Lady Gaga was announced as the winner for "Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie " for her role on American Horror Story: Hotel, the camera cut to a reaction of Leo that umm, seemed a little less than pleased. Everyone on Twitter was ~shocked~ that he might possibly be mocking or laughing at Gaga for her big win.
Lady Gaga won a Golden Globe for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel Sunday night, and gave a touching and genuine acceptance speech. But no one will remember it, because of Leonardo DiCaprio's face.
As already discussed....he was joking with someone, Gaga brushed against him and it startled him a bit, he didn't realize he was in the camera's sight.
If you watch the video closely, it seems like he's talking to someone, thus the pointing of his finger. And Gaga won, nothing can take that back, Queen keeps slaying!
