Irrespective of the insensitive rearend jokes, the entire story is 100 percent inaccurate. The singer’s rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “Beyoncé is not connected to this project, but this is a very important story to be told.”

It's even more obnoxious that one false story runs about A Star Is Born and now all the reports are that she "desperate for an Oscar" and that she's doing other films or writing scripts.

They could at least be original with their fake stories instead of leeching off of other similar ones.

Even though I was already certain it wasn't true I do think it's about time they finally addressed the rumors.
It's kind of annoying that so many people were/are dragging Beyoncé over it though. I hate to say it but it does feel like some people will use any excuse to try and purposely slate her.

As much as Bey is being dragged in the mud, I want her to Slay A Star Is Born, The S Baartman film, and get her album out this year! Some people might think I'm delusional, but Beyonce has listened to some of these people for too long. She has the talent and fanbase to make BOSS moves. (see Self-Titled). Tidal and these projects are the Carters giving a middle finger to the establishment without rocking the boat too much (See MJs purchase of the Beatles catalogue and Bill Cosby's purchase of NBC).

The story reeked of nonsense and so many sources cited that same BS article. Accountability, ethics and standards in journalism are a thing of the past in this age of 24-7 news cycles and total and constant media saturation. It is just about baiting clicks by whatever means necessary and the sad part is there are always hordes of lazy thinkers and flat out idiots that will accept anything printed as truth.
