It's cringey when anyone 16 or under does it. They're usually just not ready for it - mentally and physically - and don't really understand how to drink to be sociable.
I think 17 and older is fine. The legal drinking age in my country is 18 which is pretty reasonable. 21 seems so extra.

We learned some great info in my nutrition class that made me a firm believer in the age limit, but I can't remember what it was.
Something about some statistics showing a dramatic increase in alcoholic frequency when the exposure to alcohol is below a certain threshold of age. Or something.

These two boys are both 19 and they seem reasonable.
21 should remain the drinking age. Underage drinking is fine only if you're 18 and smart enough to avoid drinking too much and avoid driving while under the influence.
