ATRLers always give great recommendations for stuff like that, so I thought to ask!
I need some audio trimming software! You know, if you have a song with an annoying 2-minute outro or a live performance with 30 seconds of clapping in the end and you want to get rid of it...
I've been using the trimmer function in RealPlayer for a while, but I've started having problems with it recently, so I'm looking for an alternative. Any suggestions?
Right click the song, click "Get Info", click on options. Then in the "Start" and "Stop boxes, enter the times you want it to start and stop. Then click ok. Then right click the song again, and click "Create AAC Version" to make a copy of the song with those exact time marks.
Then go back to the original song, and change the times back to normal, if you want to have both versions.

I split songs stuck together. For example I split Sing About Me I'm Dying Of Thirst (12 minutes song) into Sing About Me (7 mins) and Dying of Thirst (3 mins). Cutting off all the talking with it. Now they are so much easier to listen to.

I don't have iTunes guys But thank you so much for the suggestion. And Brando, I cut off I'm Dying Of Thirst too Difference is I actually got rid of Sing About Me, like ain't nobody got time for that
