Canadian Singer/Actress Keshia Chante finally broke silence about the AALIYAH biopic. She confirms that she was asked to do the film, but they have run into a few stumbling blocks. Director Bill Condon (Eclipse, Dreamgirls) is rumored to be directing the biopic.
Keshia is set to release her 3rd album 'The Vendetta' via Sony Music Canada which is also slated to be her first U.S. release

but next year makes it 10 years, its gotta come out some time. Hopefully next year, they'll do a 10 year thing and let it begin production
