I think on dating apps (where it can be anything from friendships to hookups) hot people are sexually desired first. People don't care much about what the actual person is if he/she is hot.

It depends on what i want from you. There's some people i see who look good and i just wanna smash. There are others who look good and i actually want to get tp know them as a person.

People who are ugly are objectified in the reverse way, like "oh that guy's ugly I won't talk to him cuz he has no worth to me as a possible partner."

As an ugly person, I wouldn't know. However, I think they definitely are in the real world. Honestly, though, I take everybody's physical appearance with a grain of salt. You never know what kind of person lurks behind the pretty face, whether male or female.
