Chicago Rapper Shot But Alive!

Rapper King Louie was shot in the head in Chicago today (Dec. 23).
According to the Sun-Times, the 27-year-old, also known as King L, was shot in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago. He was reportedly taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The Chicago Tribune reports he was in a vehicle when someone came up to him and shot him.
The shooting comes just four days before the Drilluminati creator’s 28th birthday (Dec. 27). Footage of the incident has appeared on an Instagram account. A man can be heard saying, “They shot up King Louie’s house. RIP King Louie” and giving the address of the scene “83rd” and “Pulaski.”
Sam Charles of the Chicago Sun-Times confirmed the incident in a tweet after speaking with the rapper’s manager. “He’s awake and talking,” tweeted Charles, a reporter for the newspaper.
