Hasn't this been known for the past year or so? Though I did see an article with him 'confirming' that dec 2017 is still the release date so I guess that's what this is about.

I'm still extremely excited for it, it's been my most anticipated film for a while (even slightly above SW) though it is getting a bit tiresome, like it's gonna be almost 10 years since the first

but I have faith the wait will be worth it and the new tech etc will make it incredible.
