Britney Spears is under investigation over allegations that she is abusing her two young sons.
Although those close to the sometimes emotionally-unstable 28-year-old star strongly deny the abuse claims and insist that she has never mistreated her sons Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3, social workers in Los Angeles plan to quiz Spears over accusations that she attacked one of her sons with a belt and gave both food they were allergic to – making them violently ill.
It was the pop tart’s former bodyguard, Fernando Flores, who approached investigators with the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. Flores, who lodged a sexual harassment complaint against his former employer in May, worries taht Britney is too unstable to be left in charge of her boys. Apparently, Flores fears her behavior could leave lifelong scars for the boys – - who split their time between the “Toxic” singer’s Beverly Hills mansion and dad Kevin Federline’s home in nearby Tarzana.
Flores also accused Britney of feeding the boys food they were allergic to, including shellfish.
The alleged incidents took place in late March or early April.
“Britney doesn’t mean to be a bad mom, but Flores feels she has so many issues she can’t be trusted around her boys,” a Sun source spilled. “He claims the first really shocking incident was when she came marching into the pool house at her mansion and demanded his belt. He handed it over but then followed her into the main house and claims he witnessed the alleged incident,” the insider added.
In 2007, Britney Spears’s former bodyguard, Tony Barretto, asked the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services to open a child abuse investigation into the singer. At the time, Barretto claimed to have witnessed drug use and other bad behavior by the pop star.
